Care Instructions

• Handcrafted nature means each piece may show variations in colour, glaze depth, size and thickness.
• Before first use, perform medome (pre-seasoning with rice-water boiling) to reduce staining.
• Soak briefly in clean water before serving to minimise absorption.
• Wash promptly and dry thoroughly before storing to prevent mould or odour.
• For stubborn stains or smells: soak in 1L water mixed with 4 tbsp bicarbonate of soda and 1 tbsp vinegar.
