The Saliu Handcrafted Deep Green Katakuchi Matcha Bowl is made in collaboration with Minamigama, a pottery studio nestled in the mountains of Toki, Gifu. Each piece is carefully shaped by hand—from kneading the clay to forming, glazing and firing—resulting in a bowl that carries the depth and stillness of its landscape. The rich green tone is inspired by traditional Oribe glaze, allowing tea to appear vivid and full of life. With a spout-style rim, the bowl functions not only for preparing matcha but also as a serving vessel for dishes and dressings. The tactile clay and generous form highlight whatever is placed inside, offering a quiet presence at the table.
